(Chemical Information Specialist)

The increasing complexity of chemical research and the development of computer-based retrieval systems for scientific information have created a demand for professional information specialists with expertise in chemistry and skill in information handling. The Indiana University School of Library and Information Science (SLIS), in cooperation with the Department of Chemistry, offers a Master of Library Science or a Master of Information Science degree with a specialization in Chemical Information. Candidates should have at least a bachelor's degree in chemistry, or the equivalent.
