New Advanced Electron Microscope for Materials Science Arrives at IU

The IU Electron Microscopy Center is now home to a new JEOL NEOARM aberration-corrected scanning transmission electron microscope. This instrument will enable advanced materials characterization with capability for single atom resolution and chemical characterization. This instrument will be beneficial to researchers across campus and throughout southern Indiana. In our Department, materials chemistry researchers will benefit from the advanced capabilities of the new microscope, including the groups of Professors Sara Skrabalak, Xingchen Ye, and Steven Tait.
