IU President’s Award Presented to Dr. Meghan Porter

Indiana University is recognizing five faculty members and two doctoral students this semester for their demonstrated excellence in teaching and service, including Dept. of Chemistry Lecturer Dr. Meghan Porter.
Dr. Meghan Porter, will be awarded the President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning Technology. This award recognizes faculty who have made distinguished contributions to enhancing the classroom experience with new technologies. Their ability to continually adapt and integrate technology into their teaching methods and assignments have encouraged student learning, motivation, and creativity. These awardees use technology to change their classroom experience and influence the way teaching can be done throughout the university.
The 2023 University Teaching and Service Awards honorees represent IU Bloomington, IU Kokomo, IU South Bend, and IU School of Medicine.
